In this video, Kelly shows how to use GeoGebra to challenge students to divide a segment into three congruent segments.  The students solved this problem through the traditional method of constructing parallel lines and a less common method of constructing a centroid.

Kelly Castaneda is an instructor and chairperson of the Upper School Mathematics department at the Crossroads School for Arts and Sciences in Santa Monica, CA.  Prior to this position, She taught math and science at Sonoma Academy in Santa Rosa, CA and worked as a technical trainer in the process control industry at a company in Foxboro, MA.
